Today my favorite children's book is Karen Beaumont's Duck, Duck, Goose! (A Coyote's on the Loose.) I love the rhyme !

Duck, duck, goose
A coyote's on the loose!
Goose, goose, pig...
And he's really, really big!
Pig, pig, pup...
He's going to eat us up!
Pup, pup, cow...
There he is behind the plow!
The story continues until the last line reads as follows:
Wait, It's me! Why can't you see?
I just want you to play with me!
Yippee!

I'm hoping to use this book in storytime.
